How to Captivate Your Audience

Did you know that there's actually a formula for crafting a perfect sales pitch? The first part of the sales process is you have to get your prospect to know, like, and trust you. I know I've heard that a million times, you've probably heard it a million times, too.

But how do you actually do that?

You have to actually captivate or grab their attention. Remember that in sales and in business relationships trump everything.

You've got to have a relationship and build a relationship with your potential ideal prospects. You've got to captivate your audience or someone else will.

If you're wanting to hit your sales target, you have to know how to read your clients. You're about to find out my Top 5 Ways to Craft A Perfect Sales Pitch so that you can be a sales expert.

What is captivation?

It's a feeling of great liking for something wonderful, unusual, or extraordinary.

How many of you have ever asked yourself whether the first communication with your potential clients is ordinary or extraordinary? Well, you've got to stand out, you’ve got to captivate their attention and you’ve got to be extraordinary!

You've got to be committed to your message, so you can captivate them. A synonym for captivate is allure, attract, charm, or fascinate.

When was the last time you thought of your sales strategy from that perspective?

How do I attract people? How am I unique and different?

The way to rise above all that noise is you've got to be fascinating, and when you're fascinating, you'll captivate someone's attention.

My Top 5 Ways To Craft A Winning Sales Pitch

Step 1 - Captivate Their Attention

How to Captivate Your Audience To Make Sales

You've got to grab their attention and hold it.

One of the easiest ways you can do that is to ask your prospects what they need.

Because sometimes we think we know what they need, but that isn’t always accurate. The big question to ask is what’s keeping your potential clients, or even your current clients up at night? What is their biggest fear, pain, or worry?

What is it? You've got to be able to identify it, identify their biggest pain point, and identify that you have their solution.

Step 2 - Communicate their language

The second step is you have to communicate directly to your ideal prospects. But there are some things that go along with that. You have to communicate and speak their language.

You have to frame your message, your communication in the way that they need to hear it. Period!

This is the beginning process of your prospect getting to know more about you. You've got to get them to recognize that you get them, you know exactly where they're at, that you know their exact pain points, and that you know their exact solution.

It is important to get your prospects to know, like, and trust you.

Step 3 - Connect with them

Who wants to do business with someone that they don't know and like? You've got to connect with them, you've got to be real, you've got to be authentic, and you've got to connect with them from the heart level so that they start to like you.

I like to call it, “hustle with the heart.”

If you hustle only for the dollars, people are going to get that and they're going to be turned off.

Step 4 - Convert Your Prospects Into Clients

One of the most important parts of the sales process is to continue creating value throughout, but before you can actually even do that, you've got to follow this process step by step so that you can convert your prospects into lifelong customers.

If you want to create an amazing community, an amazing tribe of awesome customers, if you skip one of these steps, if you don't captivate, you don't communicate, you don't connect, you're not going to be able to convert them into long-term clients.

Step 5 - Close The Deal

What is the biggest mistake when it comes to sales?

Going for the close too soon is one of the biggest mistakes that people make. They build a little bit of a relationship, they skip the value proposition and try to close the sale too soon. It has never worked and it never will.

Now that you know the first step to perfecting your sales pitch, the rest of the steps will be coming in the next few blog posts as well. Be certain to follow along so that you can stay in the know about how you can easily perfect your sales pitch with ease.
